LAHORE: International tennis player Ushna Suhail visited Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital and Research Centre Lahore on Monday.
During the visit she met a number of cancer patients and was briefed about the cancer treatment facilities offered at Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital and Research Centre to its patients without any discrimination. She said that being a sports person, the sportsman spirit of fighting and the motivation to achieve something was nowhere as compared to the high spirited cancer patients who are fighting against cancer. She had a special interactive visit to pediatric facility and presented gifts to the children.
As a goodwill gesture, she also donated her prize money to the hospital, which she had received by winning the Pakistan Open Tennis Championship ladies singles title 2017.
